The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is a vibrant, 4 acre complex that houses the Agnes Jamieson Gallery, the Minden Hills Museum, R.D. Lawrence Place and the Minden Hills Branch of the Haliburton County Public Library. Time travel through over 150 years of Minden’s history inside the Cultural Centre’s heritage buildings, join live original theatrical performances, experience art exhibitions, adventure into a centre featuring the work of Canadian artist Andre Lapine and international award-winning writer R. D. Lawrence. Enjoy a labyrinth, gift shops, walking trails and tours.
Thanks to the Township of Minden Hills, our members, and our many dedicated volunteers. We also gratefully acknowledge the support of the Arts Alive Minden, the Advisory Committee and the many community groups and funders who support and make use of the Cultural Centre. Our logo was designed by Gallery Curator Laurie Carmount in 2007 read more...
